About

You supply the suggestions. They supply the laughs!

“There’s nothing more satisfying than comedy which makes you ache with laughter – and The Suggestibles provide exactly that. To produce such a high standard of entirely improvised comedy is no easy feat. But the actors were superb! They sing, rap, dance, act and carried off the show effortlessly. It seems there is no end to their talent.”

The Journal

Strap yourself in cos this two-hour improv-comedy joy-ride will have you rolling off your chair with laughter! As their name suggests, the players react to audience suggestions to spark hilarious stories & songs in an instant. No 2 shows are the same and the atmos has such a warm, party spirit, you’ll want to invite your mates along next time.

The Suggestibles play two monthly residencies:
The Cumberland Arms in Ouseburn, Newcastle
The Stand, central Newcastle

They also present their Impro Pantso at Northern Stage every Xmas

and get around other local and national comedy clubs and theatres too.

"The Suggestibles make scripted comedy look like staying at home to de-scale the kettle. They do to improv comedy what prostitutes do to Max Mosley (i.e. manoeuvre it into new and interesting positions and give it a damn good spanking)"

The Crack

The Suggestibles don't encourage hecklers, nor do they pick on you or demand you become involved. But they might ask the audience to shout out something like a location, job, accent or style of music, or to write down random lines of dialogue to ingeniously slot into the show. Best suggestion wins two free tickets, so you just might be surprisingly tempted!

As well as a big following for their live comedy shows, The Suggestibles also have a mega on-line fanbase on Facebook (because of their fun antics) and on YouTube (for their on-line content). Their video Pour Quoi won them a Royal Television Society Award, mention in the New York Times, and a million hits!
