Steve Steen

Steve Steen began his career at the Oval House Theatre Club in 1972 with his lifelong friend and working partner Jim Sweeney. A comedy actor at home both on the stand-up circuit and the stage, he is best arguably best known for his roles in the stage adaptations of the Bill Bryson books, Notes From A Small Island (about his travels round Britain), and Bill Bryson Down Under (his travels round Australia), however throw into the pot ‘The Kenny Everett Show’, `Carrott Confidential`, Saturday Night Live’, ‘Blackadder the Third’, ‘A Bit of Fry and Laurie’, ‘Red Dwarf’, ‘Spitting Image’, ‘Clive Anderson Talks Back’, ‘Have I Got News For You’, ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’, ‘The Lenny Henry Show’, ‘The Rory Bremner Show’, ‘Jo Brand Through the Cakehole’ and ‘The Paul Merton Show', then you might be forgiven for knowing him from elsewhere.

He is a funny, and a loveable man to boot, and tours the world with Steve Frost's Impro Allstars - see British Comedy Invasion. We got him on a rare night off!

Steve first played with the Suggestibles in November 2011.
