Christmas with the Suggestibles

The Suggestibles return to Northern Stage and the Cumberland Arms with our Impro Pantso this Christmas
The Suggestibles have been entertaining Northeast folk at Christmastime for 18 years with our Impro Pantso. Last year there was a hiatus for obvious reasons. A dark storm came and meant no one could come out and play. But this year we’re back for 3 nights of festive frolics!
Playing two nights at Northern Stage on their fantastical Sorcerer’s Apprentice set in the epic space, this is about as big a production as you can get. This year we have special guest improviser, Niall Ashdown. Originally from Middlesbrough, Niall is based in London where he works with the Comedy Store Players and Impropera, and you may have seen him in ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ back in the day. A veteran improviser and old friend, Niall pops up to perform with the Suggestibles every now and then and we can’t wait to have him return for our Northern Stage Pantso shows on Thursday 16th and Friday 17thDecember.
Our final show of the year is at our home venue, the Cumberland Arms. It’s become the tradition for us to shrink the Pantso down into this dinky venue for one huge festive blowout – and this year we’ll be partying together into Christmas Eve. The Suggestibles Impro Pantso is at the Cumberland Arms Thursday 23rd December.
