Regarding Covid-19:

We hope you will always stay safe and take care prior to attending a class or show to mitigate the risk of you catching or spreading Coronavirus, and follow NHS and Government guidelines by testing every time before mixing with others you don’t usually mix with.

For your safety and the safety of others at events you book with us:

  • All audience and/or participants MUST be able to show their Covid Passport on arrival.

  • All audience and/or participants MUST show evidence of a negative lateral flow or PCR test taken earlier the same day on arrival, A photo on your phone is ideal.

  • For classes, it is the current law that masks MUST be worn in most indoor venues excempt in certain circumstances. You therefore MUST wear a mask whilst observing but it can be removed when participating in certain performing arts activities such participating in scene work or performance games. Masks can also be removed if you are medically exempt or they cause you anxiety.

  • For audiences, masks do not need to be worn at hospitality venues serving drinks, but we strongly advise you wear them when moving around the building.

  • You can read our full Covid Safety Policy here.

Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers:

Due to Covid-19:

If you (or a named member of your group booking) tests positive for Covid-19 and you are due to attend an event which will fall over your self-isolation period, we will provide a full refund for the person who cannot attend the given event:

  • When you give us no less than 4-hours notice and can provide evidence of the test result.

  • With less than 4-hours notice, we can only provide a refund if we are able to fill your space from our waiting list.

Standard Terms (outside Covid exemptions above):

Tickets are refundable or transferable on request when bookers give the following notice:

  • With at least 7-days-notice, you are eligible for a full refund, credit, or transfer to a suitable event.

  • With less than 7-days-notice, you are eligible for a credit or transfer to a suitable event.

  • With less than 48-hours-notice, we will try to fill your place from our waiting list, and can apply a credit or transfer if we are successful.

    • We much prefer a space to be taken than go to waste.

    • The more notice you give, the better our chances of finding someone to fill your space.

In the event we need to cancel or postpone:

  • We will inform you as soon as possible, and reach out to you by the contact information you provide when you book.

  • You will be offered a full refund or you may transfer to a suitable event if you prefer.

Refunding you:

  • Refunds are not automated and need to be requested by you.

  • We aim to make refunds within 7-days, but it may take longer for your bank to process. This can depend on your original payment method, rather than administration at our end.

  • We can only refund or exchange tickets booked directly with us. We are not responsible for tickets booked with partner venues.

  • We are not liable for travel expenses, or any other out-of-pocket expenses in respect of cancelled performances or classes.

Concessions:

Discounted tickets are available to attendees who are:

  • Full-time students

  • Actors’ Equity members

  • Unemployed and in receipt of benefit (e.g. universal credit)

  • Low-waged (e.g. working on minimum/living wage, or as a single parent, or only part-time hours available to you).

  • 18-21 years of age.

  • Retired

  • Actors’ Equity members

We trust you will pay the standard fee if you don’t fit the criteria above, or you are in a more affluent position. As a small, independent, unfunded organisation, we only manage to subsidise concessions because of our standard fee-paying customers.

All concessions are subject to availability.

Class Term Discounts:

Our classes are flexible to book. We encourage students to attend regularly by offering a 10% discount for booking a whole term. Terms usually last for 6-weeks, so you can typically book 6 or more in-person and/or online classes over this period.

N.B. Space is limited. If you consistently don’t show without notifying us, we may cancel the rest of your classes (and refund an appropriate amount) to make space for members on our waiting list so the space does not go to waste.

Beginners Course Guarantee:

We understand that the outlay for a Beginners Course is a risk to you before you’ve given it a start.

  • Tell us the day after your first class if it did not meet your expectations and we will cancel the rest of your classes and provide a full refund on the course.

  • If you’re unsure, simply reach out if you have any concerns about continuing. We are always here to help.
