The Suggestibles are very sad we cannot perform live, or deliver any in-person School of Improv classes currently. However, founder-members Bev Fox and Ian McLaughlin have adapted improv classes and created a variety of improv activities that work brilliantly well online.
All our live events for 2020, since the start of Lockdown in March, were cancelled. All customers who had placed bookings with us before the start of the pandemic have been contacted, with the options for refunds or hold-overs till we can resume. (In some cases, customers offered to forgo their tickets and we are very grateful to them). Most of these messages were sent in March/April. Should you have missed our message to you, please get in touch.
We're incredibly disappointed our Impro Pantso won't be playing for the first time in 17-years. Our shows at Northern Stage this Christmas were cancelled and we were unable to book our usual tour of Northeast Theatre. BUT! We are recording a special version of the 12 days of Christmas (which is our big finale ever year), using suggestions from our Facebook fans, to sing to you on Xmas Eve.
As well as our regular comedy shows and classes, all our real-world projects for organisations and companies were forced to be cancelled too. We had our first improv retreat in the countryside all booked up for July, cancelled also.
It has been a major blow, but we are bouncing back as best we can.
Our School of Improv Online Classes have been running since April and have grown to have a global reach.
We have hosted a few special online events for teams, such as Escape Zoom and are open to more.
On social media, Bev and Ian began live-streaming lockdown shows in March, and are taking bookings for private online parties.
The Suggestibles' monthly improv comedy shows at the Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle are planned to resume from Thursday 18th March 2021. We hope our live shows at the Cumberland Arms and other venues are able to re-start around then too, when it is safe to do so.
School of Improv's real-world classes have no set-date to return yet, but they will, and we will bring you news as soon as we know.
Like so many others working in the arts, we were amongst the first to close our doors on 16th March 2020 and expect to amongst the last to re-open. We are extremely grateful to our fans and customers for staying with us, and to all the new people who have discovered us online, and helped us to continue.
Stay safe.

Really appreciated this clear and thoughtful COVID-19 update. The https://paygration.com way you explained the situation felt calm, factual, and reassuring during an uncertain time. I recently read a similar discussion on a paygration-based review blog (paygration), and it was interesting to compare perspectives.
A lovely and informative guide. The https://hawaiiadventureportraits.com/ way you highlighted nature and accessibility was great. It reminded me of travel-focused storytelling I’ve enjoyed on hawaiiadventureportraits.
This update was communicated in a calm, clear, and responsible manner, which is especially important during uncertain times. I appreciated the straightforward tone and focus on practical information. It highlights how clear communication builds trust, much like how https://www.gourmetgiftbasketstore.com/ kept its messaging transparent during changing circumstances. Very well handled.
I adore how they effortlessly transition from day to night. It’s a must-have for anyone who loves timeless jewelry. A diamond necklace is the perfect way to add a touch of sparkle to your everyday style.
